Toddler times

Ah, the joys of being the mom of a 2.5 year old. Yesterday, I was ready to have a mommy meltdown after my son, Jack, went through music class knocking kids down (intentionally) left and right. He was like Godzilla taking down Tokyo. He's usually a pretty easy going kid so I'm not sure where the random "handsy" behavior is coming from....or maybe he's just exploring more with his personality (Good times!).
Thankfully, today is another day and he's back to his usual goofy 2 year old self. For example, typically he likes to torment our very lazy Garfield like cat, Seamus. He found Seamus sleeping in his usual spot at the end of our bed. Jack went up to him, turned around and said "HA HA HA, look at my BUM, kitty!!". I couldn't stop laughing. Where do they get this stuff from?

He thought no one saw him go in this room. I snuck up behind him and took this as well as a video. He was dancing away without a clue that I was behind him. Right after I took this pic, he said "Dance with me mommy!"

Happy Autumn!

Just taking a walk and thought this was pretty. Sorry about the wires. I couldn't seem to get around them!

These adorable little monkeys are my friends kids (including my little Superboy in there). We had been planning a group birthday dinner (we all have birthdays in the summer) and I figured, why not get a group Halloween shot. Getting all six kids to look at the camera was a fun challenge!

Instagram

I drive by this little brook on my way to work every day. I finally got a chance to stop and take a picture!

Most of the photos I've posted so far were taken with either the camera on my phone or a point and shoot. This was the day when my D3100 had arrived. I ran right out the door, had no idea what the hell I was doing and started clicking away. Of course it was a gloomy day but that's New England in the fall for you.

My sweet little boy

It's hard to believe he's already 2 1/2 years old!

I took this on April 24, 2010 (the day we brought Jack home from the hospital). We had waited years for him and this was the happiest (and scariest) day of our lives.
